Pokémon Ranger

Pokémon Ranger is the first Pokémon RPG with capturing Pokémon without using Pokéballs instead you capture Pokémon with the so called "Capture Styler".

To capture Pokémon you draw circles as fast (or as slow) as you can around the Pokémon without touching the Pokémon or its attacks. You can use other Pokémon you captured to attack the Pokémon you're fighting or to heal your Styler, example:Raichu's, Pikachu's, Pichu's, Magnemite's and Magneton's skill is to heal but Plusle's and Minun's is to attack the foe Pokémon and paralyze it. There are 210 catch-able Pokémon.

As a Pokémon Ranger you go around Fiore with your new found friend Pokémon protecting people, Pokémon and nature against Pokémon gone mad and Team Go-Go. They (Team Go-Go) are the Team Rocket equivalent of Fiore causing trouble everywhere.

There's a Manga, a few Anime episodes and a Movie based on this game.
