Summary
Anime:
All kids that turn 10 get their first Pokémon from the local professor and is Ash's case the world renowned Prof. Oak. Ash Ketchum (also known as Satoshi in the japanese version) is a hasty, rash, energetic, over-enthousiastic but courageous and brave 10 year old (at beginning of journey) that gets his new Pokémon only one day later after he turns 10.The day he gets his Pokémon he oversleeps and is late and that results in that there is no Pokémon left for him! Except for one, Prof. Oak advises him to comeback later but he wants a Pokémon now and won't leave without one. And so gives Proffessor oak him his first Pokémon: Pikachu! At the start it is a stubborn and touchy Pokémon that gives electric shocks at every interaction with him but later he starts to trust Ash and becomes his best friend and they Battle against team rocket befriend new people and pokemon and have adventures that never seem stop coming!
